Purpose

Several types of addresses with different attributes can be found in LBASE Online:
 

• Text address: a text address is only temporary, i.e. can only be used once. It is not possible to search for this address.

• Master address: a master address is stored in the database and can be found in LBASE Online using the address search.

• Customer address: as an alternative to the master address, it is also possible to enter customer addresses, which are also visible in the LBASE Client as partner customer addresses.

Access principles

In LBASE Online, the access to address details is subject to certain restrictions.

The following options are possible:

• The user has no access to the address database. A text address A text address is only temporary, i.e. can only be used once. It is not possible to search for this address. must be entered for every shipment, which is then used once.

• The user has his/her own (master) address pool (e.g. a contingent of 1000 possible address entries) and can use this address area to enter and manage any addresses.

• The user has restricted read access to the application operator’s master addresses. For logical reasons, the user will be assigned precisely the addresses which are likely to be required in his/her business cases.

• The user has only read access to the entire address database.

• The user has unrestricted access to the entire address database.
