Direct entry of an address ID or a search string.

Note: once you have pressed Tab to exit the field, the adjacent field is automatically completed providing your entry is unique. If you enter a search string that is not unique, this is transmitted to the Find and manage addresses page and all the matches (hits) are listed.

Search principles - overview

The address search is based on the following search principle:

  • Precisely one hit: the address found is automatically accepted.

  • Several hits: the Find and manage addresses page opens with the list of hits. If one of the hits is correct, you can select this by clicking the address ID. This is then transferred into the address row.

  • No hits: the Find and manage addresses page opens without a list of hits.

Tip: check the spelling of the search string and repeat the search.
