Procedure - Shipment pool

Purpose

Following activation, the workflow is modified when the shipment is saved in that the defined shipment type is available in the pool and has to be released.

Process

Step 1: Shipment entry

Shipments can be provisionally entered and then released from the shipment pool. This can then be used as two-stage shipment entry. To do this, you can save a new shipment as a pool shipment (field Type) as usual.

Note: this is managed with the type that is stored in the configuration as the shipment type.

Tip: if necessary, you can receive support to help you work efficiently through the additional product Shipment template. Please contact Imtech to this end.

Step 2: Save shipment

Note: if the LI for the pool has been activated via the property sdg_pool_saveli, the LI is accessed once the shipment has been saved. You can therefore conduct plausibility checks for the first entry stage at this point.

Once the shipment has been entered as a pool shipment, you can save this but also edit it further via the shipment ID hyperlink. However, the shipment type cannot be retrospectively modified.

Step 3: Release shipments

Next, you can click [Release shipments].

Tip: in the configuration, the property sdg_pool_searchdays can be used to determine the number of days into the past for which shipments should be sought for the pool.

All the shipments in the pool that have not yet been released are displayed for the configured period. Cancelled shipments are not included in the table.

Tip: you can independently define the display mode The display mode describes how the search result should be displayed and is stored in the LBASE Client. for the table via the property sdg_pool.azaid.

You can use the hyperlinks to release all or only the selected shipments or a single shipment through the shipment ID hyperlink in the pool.

Furthermore, you can also re-edit the shipment via the icon.

Step 4: Shipment release in progress

As the release process can take several seconds per shipment, you are shown continual feedback about the status of the shipment release.

Note: do not close the browser or press Back to go to the previous page during the release process as your session ID will become invalid.

Step 5: Shipment release complete

Regardless of the LI integration, the following options are now available to you in the final step:

  • You can click the shipment's hyperlink to re-edit it

  • Providing the print function is enabled in the configuration, you can select [Run print module] for the shipment or

  • You can click [All printouts] to start the successfully released shipments.

  Release with LI integration

If you have enabled the property sdg_pool_saveli, once you have forwarded the shipment to be released, the shipment is reviewed by the logic interpreter The logic interpreter (LI) is a main component of LBASE's logic interpreter system. The interpreter receives, evaluates and then implements instructions. The instructions are created by the user in the LBASE system with the assistance of a module editor.. Each shipment is automatically transferred to the LI for checking and further processing, receives the shipment type that is stored in the configuration via the property sdg_pooltyp.freigabe and can be separately processed via the LI.

  Release without LI integration

If the LI check for the pool is deactivated by the property sdg_pool_saveli and the LI check properties are deactivated at shipment level sdg_la_sdg, sdg_check, sdg_dfue, a simple release of the shipment takes place.
